Where should I buy....This is a question we're often asked. It very much depends on the type of property you're looking for, do you need to be close to a station, do you require schools, do you need to be near the shops? But some people, particularly investors, like to know the areas that show the highest capital growth.

Over the last 12 months Thurrock as a whole, despite Brexit and an interest rate rise, saw a growth in property value, and most of this has come about in the last three months.

Of all of the areas Tilbury performed exceptionally well with growth over the last twelve months of 6.62%, and 1.84% of that in the last three months!.... probably attributed to the huge amount of employment that's been attracted to the area, particularity from the port and Amazon.
